Yes! Everyone is warmly welcome to attend the Nuptial Mass. In keeping with Catholic teaching, Holy Communion is reserved for practicing Catholics who are in a state of grace, because Catholics believe it is the true Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Christ. If you are not Catholic or are not receiving Communion, you are welcome to remain in your seat or come forward to receive a blessing. Simply cross your arms over your chest as a sign. Your presence and support mean so much to us, and we are truly grateful to celebrate this special holy sacrament with you.
Please kindly RSVP by April 25, 2026 so we may plan accordingly. If we do not receive a response by this date, we will respectfully assume you are unable to attend and mark your reply as a regretful decline. Thank you for helping us plan our special day!
We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! Dress code is cocktail to formal attire. Ladies, we recommend cocktail, midi, or floor-length dresses; gentlemen, suits. We invite our guests to reflect the joy of the day in their attire. We would love to see our guests in bright, cheerful, summery colors, especially in dresses. For suits, classic tones like navy, gray, or light neutrals are a perfect complement. The ceremony and reception will be inside; cocktail hour will be outdoors. Please note: The ceremony will be in a church, so modest attire is appreciated.
Please avoid wearing white or any shades like ivory, cream, or champagne, as this color is reserved for the bride. The wedding party will be wearing light blue. Feel free to choose a different color so you don’t accidentally twin with a bridesmaid or groomsman!
If your invitation formally addressed a guest, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. Thank you for understanding and being a part of our special day!
Children may attend the Nuptial Mass. We kindly ask that those in attendance be able to participate respectfully in the sacred setting. The reception will be limited to invited guests 16 and over.
We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony so our professional photographers can capture the moment. We'll happily share the photos with you afterward!
Transportation will not be provided for the day’s events. We kindly ask that guests make their own arrangements for travel between locations.
Yes! Both the church and the Nixon Library have ample free parking available on site. Please celebrate safely; we recommend Uber or ride-share services when needed.
