Most of you are thinking "Didn't you already get married?"

Yes! We did!

We went to the courthouse then spent a few hours with our parents and some family before we went off to Ronan's LAST T-ball game of the season! So here we are now inviting all of you to finally celebrate this wonderful experience with us!

We swiped "right"!

Let's just say.. of all the wonderful things you can find on the internet, we found each other!

You know how our parents always told us not to talk to strangers, especially ones on the internet? Well, here we are! We both swiped right but George is who first messaged. After 2 months of talking day and night, phone or video calls from the time we got off work until we had to get up for work the next morning, we finally decided it was time to meet. Both of us knew even before meeting that we were each other's ONE. As you all know George had worked in Texas most of us knowing each other. Well after being at work for almost 6 months he finally came home and we decided we would meet. The plan was for him to fly back, his mom to pick him up at the airport and he would come out and be at Allyson's when she got off work at 6 and go to dinner. Allyson's perspective. All day that day all I could think about was finally meeting him. I was so nervous but also excited. I was a PreK teacher at the time and even my student's knew I was excited about something. My lunch break comes by and George lets me know that he made it safe to the airport, then later on lets me know he made it safely to his mom's house. Then comes time for me to get off. I worked 2 mins from where I was living at the time and it was a nice day so I had decided to walk to work that day. I walk home expecting to see George sitting waiting in his car for me. No George. Then I think maybe he is just running late, got stuck in traffic. I text him to let him know I am home and I would go ahead and get ready for dinner. Reminder, I got off at 6 that day... An hour goes by, still don't hear from George. I give him a call, no answer. I start to worry. Maybe he got in an accident. OR maybe he just got tired of me and is ghosting me. 9 rolls around and I have at this point come to the conclusion he has ghosted me. Then finally I get a call at almost 11pm. He got back to his mom's and fell asleep. The next morning, he comes out and we finally get to meet. That butterfly feeling that people always talk about that I always thought wasn't really a thing, I got that. And I knew from that moment on I had met my forever best friend, even if he did somewhat ghost me for a few hours! Things have not been the easiest for us over the years. Between George's work, the loss' that we have went through, life in general. But I would not want anyone else by my side through this crazy thing called life. George's Perspective. The day I met my bestest friend is one I’ll always remember but will also never not catch hell from Allyson about! I had been working in West Texas for about 60 days, (16 hour days) straight prior to hopping on a plane and heading back home. I remember being so excited driving to the Midland airport knowing I get to meet this really awesome lady I’d been talking to for 2 months already! Anyone knowing me I love planes and always have a harder time falling asleep on them since I’m usually excited to be flying. Well I get home and text Allyson I made it and she says she’s just getting on break. I think I have some time to get a quick nap before heading out to this place I’ve never heard of to meet this lady I’ve never met. After being up for 30 hours, my body had other plans to catch up on sleep and I slept right through my alarm and woke up panicking since it was 11pm! I let her know I wasn’t “ghosting” her and we decided to meet up the next day and it’s one decision I’ll never regret, going to meet my forever best friend.
