FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code is formal or black tie optional. Gentleman, you get to look snazzy in a suit or optional tuxedo if you are feeling it. Ladies, those floor length gowns or cocktail dresses are going to look beautiful on you!

Question

What if I have food allergies?

Answer

Great question! Please indicate if you have any type of food allergy when you RSVP. The bride and groom will make sure to let the caterer know.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we ask that only those who receive RSVPs be in attendance. For those of you with little ones who will take part in the ceremony, their names will be on your RSVP.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The bride and groom are planning for an outdoor ceremony weather permitting, we all know Maryland weather can be crazy. Cocktail hour will be split between the barn and the rose garden. The reception will be fully indoors in the barn. *On the chance that the weather is bad, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held indoors*

Question

I have a question but I do not see an answer

Answer

The wedding may be close to Halloween but the bride and groom are unfortunately not psychic, maybe the bride is a little bit. However, if you have a question that you do not see please reach out to Robin Goldberg, the mother of the bride.

Question

Are there hotel blocks?

Answer

Great question! Unfortunately, there are no hotel blocks. This is due to there being a very small amount of guests who will be coming from out of state. There are two hotel recommendations on our travel page. Another great option is Airbnb! There are many beautiful stays in the area with amazing mountain views!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes, we will be serving alcohol during cocktail hour and the reception. However, due to facility and caterer policies, anyone who appears under the age of 30 will be carded. Please be sure to remember your ID if you will be indulging in alcoholic beverages.
