Like many modern couples, Paul and Allysen met on a dating website. On their first date at a local Thai restaurant they spoke of their trials and triumphs pursuing their dreams in New York City and their excitement for the future - all the while picturing each other in that future! They have been inseparable since that first date, falling in love quickly and that love grows deeper and stronger as time moves forward. Their partnership has made their lives brighter, clearer, and filled with joy. Their hearts overflow to make this deep commitment to each other in the company of their loved ones.

Paul took Allysen on a trip to Africa to see two beloved countries of his - Botswana and South Africa. Paul lived and worked Botswana for two years so he was an excellent tour guide! Covid-19 unfortunately cut the trip short and they had to quickly rebook flights home from Capetown. In the midst of packing Paul asked Allysen to come to the balcony with him. Allysen walked out under the stars to the sound of waves crashing and turned around to see Paul kneeling and holding a ring. There wasn't time for him to say much as Allysen immediately burst into tears and yelled "YES!" It is a true silver lining of a global pandemic!
