Are kids invited?

Answer

Of course -- we know Sheldon is not a short drive for many of you and babysitters can be expensive! If your wedding invitation specified the word "family," then we have planned for you to bring children (pending your RSVP, of course!)

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we would love to have as many people at our wedding as possible, our budget simply does not permit it. Please only bring a guest if one was specified on your invitation.

Question

Will transportation be provided from the reception to any hotels?

Answer

No, unfortunately northwest Iowa does not have a lot to offer in terms of public transportation. However, the Holiday Inn Express is visible from the venue and is only a short walk.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail require is requested and we would prefer all guests refrain from wearing denim. However, be comfortable and plan to dress according to the weather!

Will there be instances of group religious observance or group prayer during the ceremony or reception?

Answer

No. We are hosting a nonreligious wedding and reception. We respectfully encourage all religious observances or prayer be conducted in a private manner during the entirety of both events.

Will there be an awkward amount of time between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We don't plan on it! The ceremony and reception are at the same venue, so you won't need to go sit around at your hotel room between events.

Where is the couple registered?

Answer

We value your presence over your presents! However, the bride and groom have a wedding registry set up at Amazon. If you are unable to attend the wedding in person and insist on sending a gift, please send to: 1309 SE Hayes Drive Ankeny, IA 50021

Help! Google doesn't recognize the venue or address!

Answer

Don't panic! If Google does not register Crossroads Pavilion Events Center (or 301 34th Avenue, Sheldon, IA) then you can navigate to the Holiday Inn Express in Sheldon. The events center is the building immediately to the south of the hotel.

Will there be vegetarian options available?

Answer

Unfortunately, there were limited non-meat entrée options when selecting a caterer. However, salads and sides (and dessert!) should be enough to fill up on!
