Question

Is the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything is inside and air-conditioned. There is a valet parking service which will let you off at the door. The garage parking area is covered and there is a short walk of about two minutes from the garage to the venue.

We sent in our RSVP, but we just discovered we can't make it. What should we do?

Answer

While we are sorry you can't celebrate with us, we understand things happen. If you sent in your RSVP and now you can't make it, please simply let us know. Send a quick text so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at EXACTLY 5:30 p.m. so please arrive by 5:00 to get seated. It will be a short ceremony

Does everyone get a plus one? Do we have to tell you if we are bringing a guest?

Answer

Unfortunately we could not give everyone a "plus one." The invitation is for the person whose name is listed on the invitation only.

What airport do we fly into?

Answer

The nearest airport is Newark Liberty International (EWR), but you can also fly into JFK or LGA JFK and LGA are in New York and are a long drive from the wedding. Expect to pay about $100 in an Uber if you fly into one of these airports

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

After the ceremony, we will have a cocktail hour with appetizers and an open bar, then the reception will start immediately afterward. Dinner will be a five course meal with dessert and a full selection of international coffee. And the bar will be open the entire night!

How far is the reception from the ceremony? Will we have to drive? Are there stairs to get to the event?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be held in one location, so there's no travel required between the ceremony and reception. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are all on ground level, so all of the events are wheelchair-accessible.

What hotel is nearest the wedding?

Answer

We have reserved a block of hotel rooms at The Element New York Wood-Ridge hotel. We have also listed several nearby hotels that are within a 10 minute drive of the wedding. See the "Travel" page for more information

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want your presence so please wear what makes you feel your best! While the invitation says the attire is black tie optional, your presence at our special event is what is most important. A quick guide: Ladies: Long, floor length gowns, short cocktail dresses, dressy pantsuits, evening wear/separates Gentlemen: Tuxedos, dark suits, sport coats and slacks, shirt and tie

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes. There is ample on-site free parking and free valet service available

I don't know if I will be able to make it. Can I just decide the day of the wedding?

Answer

While we know it can be challenging to plan in advance, we ask that you please let us know if you will attend. We are planning an amazing experience for our guests, and your RSVP lets us know how many people to expect and what to tell our caterer (we have a great menu planned!) Please just drop us a note, change the RSVP on the website, text, call---just let us know.

We have a registry link on this website for your convenience. We are also registered at Target.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Thanks for asking! We definitely love the kids and we think weddings are family affairs. Everyone whose name is on the envelope is invited, adults and kids.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The host hotel and the ceremony are on the same complex and share a parking lot. There are hotel shuttles from the Element to the Fiesta. For guests that are staying at hotels other than The Element, there will be a short drive to the ceremony. We have a list of area hotels that are all within a 10 minute drive of the wedding.
