It all began when Ally was visiting her friend Meagan at Dickinson College in the Spring of 2016. Little did we know, a chance encounter and a few games of flip cup at my house party would change our lives forever. Sparks flew, and even though Ally had another year at Penn State, and I was moving to New York City post-graduation, we couldn't ignore the connection we felt. Despite the distance, we stayed in touch, and I took the opportunity to invite Ally to a pool party at my parent's house while they were out of the country (open house!!!!). It was there that we realized there was something special between us and over the next few months, we made it a point to see each other whenever possible, cherishing every moment spent together. As Ally moved to Cleveland to pursue her career as a nurse at the Cleveland Clinic, and I pursued mine in New York City, our relationship continued to deepen despite the distance. We embarked on countless weekend trips to bridge the gap, each one strengthening our bond and affirming that our love was worth the distance. Eventually, CRNA school at Rutgers (and maybe a little bit of me) brought Ally back to the East Coast, and we took the exciting step of moving in together. Our cozy apartment in Hoboken, NJ became the backdrop for countless cherished memories as we navigated life side by side. In September 2022, during a picturesque weekend getaway to New Hope, PA, I decided it was time to make things official. Ally was oblivious to my plan as we stood in front of a breathtaking waterfall, with a photographer hidden in the bushes. I dropped to one knee and asked Ally to spend forever with me. It turned out NOT to have been a total surprise (apparently, I'm not great at hiding things nor was the photographer good at hiding himself), but it was a moment filled with love and excitement as we embarked on this new chapter together. Now, as we prepare for our big day, we're filled with anticipation and joy. Our wedding day will be a celebration of our love, surrounded by our friends and family. We can't wait to say "I do" and begin the next chapter of our lives together. We're excited for the life and adventures that lie ahead, from creating lasting memories in new destinations across the world, to eventually creating a home and family together. We can't wait to see where this journey takes us. Thank you for being a part of this story.
