Our Wedding and COVID19

Due to gathering restrictions, we are prioritizing the health and safety of our friends & family, so we are eloping on June 18th, 2020. More details to come for our big celebration in 2021!

A Tale as Old as Time

Richie had been searching for the right person, but the last place he expected to find his soulmate was at a big tech company. He was an artist and Ally was….practical. Somehow, they became fast friends, and worked together for almost a year before he asked her out on a simple date. Before you knew it, he had fallen head over heels for this red-haired beauty. And even though she didn’t admit it until much later, she had fallen, too. She was his dream girl, someone he felt God had designed specifically for him. He was everything she didn’t think she deserved, but knew she needed. With time, he introduced her to his family and she introduced him to her dog...and family. Soon he planned an elaborate proposal with a ring he designed himself; thankfully, she said yes. While neither of them were (or are) perfect, God has undeniably blessed their relationship. Through a severe concussion, new jobs, and lots of travel, Riche and Ally have weathered quite a lot already and are looking forward to life’s future adventures together.

My Star

a poem by Richie Kotwica

At the heart of our ringed solar system Is a bright, burning ball who calls me victim. Her solar rays thaw my lonesome skin, Like showing me healthy commitment is her sole mission. But those sunbeams that warm me with their light Don’t have it easy as they pass through their night. Hurtling through the cold dead of time in space, 92 million miles before they can unite with me in embrace. Even so, while they do it because they do, I like to think that it's because she loves me too. Time and choices tend to leave their own deep scar But she-, she is a guiding light, my very own star. Traversing the painful night sky, Just to solace her faithful ally. The burning heat that comes from her love Fills my heart and eyes to the brim in awe of. The gift of life and love that is made through sacrifice Is seemingly marriage’s only asking price. So it is with reverence and wonder I see this celestial girl into whom I did blunder. Traveling light doesn't just come from up above But from person to person in the form of true love. I can tell you that I’ve never had a soulmate on my radar, But now that I've found mine, its blindingly obvious, She’s my one and only star.
