We're Getting Married!

Patrick and Ally first saw each other when Patrick, as a member of the Franciscan Rugby Team, had to help move freshman into dorms the beginning of orientation week. They met officially at the freshman dance during our orientation week. Ally asked him to dance and Patrick stumbled along...Ally still thought he was pretty cute despite his two left feet. Ally and Patrick became the first couple of the Class of 2020 five days later after their first date of praying at adoration and watching The Notebook (Patrick's idea not Ally's)

A semester abroad studying in a 12th-century monastery seems like a romantic adventure even without a proposal (if you forget all the hours of studying that is also included) During their ten-day spring break, Ally and Patrick decided to "go home" to Ireland and trace their family roots! In Cavan Ireland, Patrick proposed and it was an instant yes!!
