Ally and Landon met at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, she played D1 women’s ice hockey (yes, she’ll make sure you know it), and he played basketball. Their paths crossed between the rink and the court, sparks flew, and they had a brief college fling. Life took them in different directions, but fate (and Instagram) had other plans. After graduation, while Ally was in nursing school, she decided to shoot her shot and slid into Landon’s DMs, arguably her best assist of all time. The spark reignited instantly, and this time, they set out on life’s biggest adventure: building a life and a love that keeps getting better.

Since finding their way back to each other, Ally and Landon have built a life that feels like home, one woven with love, laughter, and a shared sense of wonder. From late-night phone calls and spontaneous adventures during Ally’s travel nursing days, to trading snowy Midwest winters for the salty air and evergreen beauty of the Pacific Northwest, every step has been another page in their story. They call Gig Harbor home, where their days are made sweeter by the joyful chaos of their golden retriever, Louie, who remains convinced the wedding is really for him. Together, they chase the kind of moments that fill a life with meaning: hiking through mossy forest trails, gliding across glassy inlets on paddleboards, or sharing slow mornings over coffee as the sun rises. At home, they pour their hearts into cooking nourishing meals, experimenting with new recipes, and diving into the latest research to better understand how to care for their bodies and minds. Their shared passion for health, movement, and science keeps them growing both individually and as a team. They push each other to dream bigger, live deeper, and love better, every day. Above all, Ally and Landon treasure the people they share their life with. Louie, our beloved golden retriever, was born on Valentine’s Day, making him the perfect symbol of the love we share. At three and a half years old, he has filled our lives with joy, laughter, and the kind of unconditional devotion that only a dog can give. He is not only our constant companion but also the heart of our little family, always reminding us of the simple, pure moments that matter most. In countless ways, Louie has brought us closer together, and we can’t imagine this journey without him by our side.

Gig Harbor is where Landon and I have chosen to build a life together. A charming little harbor town where mountain views meet salty air, and every corner holds a piece of our story. We spend sunny days strolling along the downtown waterfront, paddleboarding on the glassy water, or forest bathing in McCormick park. Weekends often mean fresh produce from the Metropolitan Market, warm bagels from B’s Bagels, and taking Louie for an afternoon at Lucky Dog. Whether it’s sipping a pint at 7 Seas Brewery with Mount Rainier in view or cozying up by the fire in winter, this little town has our hearts. We can’t wait for you to experience its magic!
