Train

Amtrak or MTA

The Amtrak along the Northeast corridor stops right in downtown Mystic, and you can catch the train in New York (3 hrs), Boston (1.5 hrs), New Haven (1 hr), or Providence (1 hr). Once you arrive at the train station in Mystic, you can either take a taxi/Uber to the block hotels, or walk to your accommodations if you are staying at a B&B or Airbnb in downtown Mystic. Tickets start at $20 round trip between NYC and Mystic if you book far enough in advance. If you are traveling from NYC or New Haven, you can also take Metro North to New Haven and then transfer to the CT Rail Shore Line East. The Shore Line East does not go straight into Mystic but it will take you from New Haven to New London, and then it's a 15 minute taxi/Uber from New London to Mystic. If you are booking last minute, Metro North/Shore Line East will likely be the more affordable option. Both Metro North and CT rail have apps you can download to buy your tickets day of (TrainTime and CTrail eTix).

Flight

NYC, Boston, Providence, Hartford, or New Haven

All are options for places to fly into! If you fly into NYC, Boston, New Haven, or Providence, you can take the train to Mystic. If you fly into Hartford, you will want to rent a car.

Hotel

Hyatt Place Mystic

The first hotel block option, for $319 per night plus tax if booked through the block (compared with $400-425 per night if booked directly through Hyatt as of January 2024). The interior of this 3-star hotel is being gut renovated in winter/spring 2024, and all rooms have a pullout couch in addition to a king or two double beds. All reservations for the block must be for two nights (both Friday and Saturday). The hotel can also be booked for 12,000 Hyatt points per night if award space is available, and points can be transferred from Chase or Bilt to Hyatt. Shuttles will depart from this hotel at 4:30 pm and bring guests to/from the wedding on Saturday. For Friday drinks and Sunday brunch, we recommend guests Uber. Use the button below to book. Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa

The second hotel block option, for $269-299 per night plus tax if booked through the block (compared with $340-380 per night if booked directly through Marriott as of October 2023). This 4-star hotel is located in Groton, a 10-minute drive from Mystic, and was renovated in 2019. Reservations can be made for any combination of the Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the wedding weekend. We'd recommend this option for those who don't mind staying a little outside of Mystic or who are looking to stay in the area on only Saturday night. Shuttles will depart from this hotel at 4:45 pm and bring guests to/from the wedding on Saturday. For Friday drinks and Sunday brunch, we recommend guests Uber. Shuttle

Shuttles to/from the Wedding

September 14, 2024 4:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Shuttles will be provided from the block hotels to the venue (4:30 pm for the Hyatt and 4:40 pm for the Marriott). Shuttles will also be provided from the venue back to the block hotels at the end of the wedding (11:00 pm).
