Buffalo Trace Distillery is not only the Bride and Grooms favorite Distillery it is home to almost all of their favorite bourbons! Strongly recommend booking a tour of the distillery and learning the history of bourbon and it’s presence throughout Kentucky! You might even find some spots where their engagement photos were taken :) Pro Tip: book an early morning tour (it’s free!) so you can snag one of the good bottles of bourbon they put out at the end of the tour in the gift shop. These allocated bottles often sell out by late morning and your gift shop experience will have a guarantee of one of Sazerac Rye, Weller Special Reserve, Eagle Rare, E.H. Castle & Key Distillery
Fun Fact: This Building is the very first building that Colonel E.H. Taylor started to distill his now world renowned E.H. Taylor Bourbon! Castle & Key now distills their very own bourbon and ryes and has a wonderful landscape to tour and a bar inside and outside where mixed drinks are served!
The Kentucky Castle
The name says it all. Beautiful castle built in the heart of Versailles, KY (just outside Lexington). Available for lunches, dinners, and tours! A must see!

1st Lady Mary Todd Lincoln’s childhood home where she grew up and a place her and President Lincoln often returned to visit before & during his presidency. Cool artifacts, and original house items on site. A history buff’s dream visitation!

Beautiful campus to check out if you are interested in touring the Univ. Of Kentucky! It is a large campus that has beautiful architecture and is also a college sports fan’s dream!
