Dan and Ally met in 2021, on an internship with the American Junior Golf Association. Both hesitant to leave home, they needed a push to start their next big adventure, which ultimately led to their biggest adventure yet - marriage. Dan made the first move, texting Ally while their internship team was stopped in a random city on the way to Texas getting gas. A risky move, Dan sent Ally (a huge Flyers fan) a YouTube link to then Chicago Blackhawk Patrick Kane scoring the 2010 Stanley Cup winning goal in Philadelphia, with the message “in case you get bored on our drive.” We’re all surprised that he made it this far after that… Long distance tested and strengthened them, as Ally lived in Georgia and Dan lived in Florida. Despite lots of flight issues and late-night airport pick ups, they made the most of their time together. Finally, Ally moved to Florida during the summer of 2022, and they continue their story there today. And with the help of Ally’s family and friends, Dan finally proposed on the beach in Brigantine, New Jersey, in August of 2025.
