After the world shut down in 2020, Dan returned home from college in Nebraska and Ally was about to make the move to Orcas Island. When an invitation from mutual friends to a small get together changed the course of their lives. After only a few visits over the course of the next year, Dan took the leap over his last summer break to join Ally on Orcas Island and became a local pizza making legend. After an amazing first summer together in the islands, Dan returned to Nebraska for his senior year playing baseball at York University. During the winter of 2022, Ally decided to brave the midwest winter and moved out to Nebraska to watch Dan play in his final few games, then returned to Orcas in the spring. When school ended in the spring and we thought long distance was finally over, Dan got the chance to play baseball in North Dakota where he spent the first few weeks of summer. After their season ended we finally got to settle down and live together with our best boy, Henry! Now after a short move to Gig Harbor, where we live closer to family, we both have jobs we love and enjoy and got engaged in May 2023 in beautiful Roche Harbor!
