Yes! The boat will travel along the NYC harbor throughout the night, allowing for a beautiful backdrop of the skyline and other famous landmarks. Our guests will have plenty of photo opportunities with the beautiful city we call home! Please be mindful that once the boat departs, you will be unable to leave until the boat returns at 10:30 PM. We encourage you to bring anything that you may need on board with you, and to ensure that all members of your party are able to stay onboard for the duration of the cruise. Feel free to contact us with any questions/concerns!
Unfortunately, the boat does not contain an elevator. However, a private staircase will be set aside for anyone who may need extra time to board.
For the ceremony and reception on Saturday, we suggest semi-formal wear (suits, cocktail dresses, or formal-length gowns). This is a full-size yacht, no need to worry about slippery decks or getting wet! If you plan to join us for Welcome Drinks on Friday, dress code is casual (jeans and comfortable shoes are welcome)!
There is a parking deck right next to the pier for a flat rate (~35.00). Guests may also wish to use cabs/rideshare or public transit to get to the venue. See our "Travel" section for more details!
We want all of our guests to be comfortable during the cruise, and unlike land-based venues, there's no running back upstairs to your hotel room for a forgotten item! We suggest that all guests bring: 1. A coat or shawl in case it gets chilly at night on the water 2. Any emergency medications that you could unexpectedly need (inhaler, etc).
Unlikely! The boat stays in protected waters and is very large, so we have been assured by the charter company that seasickness is rarely an issue. However, we will provide Dramamine, sea bands, and ginger for all guests just in case!
