The Wedding Website of Ally Heard and Chris Faronea

Hotel

Ramons Village Resort

Coconut Drive, San Pedro, Belize
 (601) 649-1990

This is where we'll be staying and getting married on Friday the 13th. We have a handful of rooms blocked off from Wednesday through Sunday (11/11 - 11/15). Options are limited (it's not a huge resort), so we recommend calling Amanda and putting a $100 deposit on a room as soon as you're able. The remaining balance isn't due until 30-days before your stay (mid-October-ish). To Reserve: Call Amanda at 601-649-1990 She's very helpful and can answer any questions. Just tell her you're part of Chris and Ally's wedding party. If you're into scuba, Ramon's has their own dive shop and they do dives daily. If you prefer not to stay at the resort, you do you boo! There are plenty of other options within walking distance, including some very reasonably priced AirB&Bs.

Flight

Belize City (BZE)

There are two options once you get into Belize city airport. 1. Take a cab to the water taxi/ferry terminal and a 60-ish min boat ride to San Pedro. 2. Take a 15-min puddle jumper to the island.

Travel Note

Water Taxi to San Pedro

This is what we usually do. You go outside the airport, get in line to get a taxi and tell them you're going to the water taxi (Water Taxi/Ferry Terminal to San Pedro). There are two water taxi companies - a Belizean one and a Chinese-owned one. The driver will probably gear you toward the Belizean one. Either is fine really, the Chinese one is a little cheaper. You can buy tickets at the office for ~$31 USD per person. Boats leave daily at 3:00, 4:30 and 5:30pm. Once you arrive in San Pedro, a golf cart will pick you up at the dock - or you can walk, it's not far. https://sprinter.bz/ https://belizewatertaxi.com/

Travel Note

Puddle Jumper to San Pedro

There are small flights from Belize City airport to the island of San Pedro that leave multiple times/day. The Tropic Air flights typically hold 14 passengers and it's around 14-minutes to the island. (~$100 each way) We've never taken this flight, but we heard the views are beautiful! Amanda at the resort can help book this for you if you'd like. If you coordinate with the resort, they will have a golf cart to pick you up when you land in San Pedro.
