Here is what we know: PENNSYLVANIA: It is currently mandatory for masks to be worn in all public spaces. ALLEGHENY COUNTY: Recently ordered the cancellation of all activities and events over 25 people and has banned on-site alcohol consumption at gatherings, including weddings. ST. THOMAS MORE CHURCH: Is following both the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County restrictions even though religious institutions are not required, by law, to follow these restrictions, but are encouraged to follow the CDC guidelines for social distancing. They have mandated that the wedding party, except the bride and groom, and all guests MUST wear a mask while in church. CHRIS AND ALLY: We will get married on July 18, 2020. We hope to celebrate our special day with our family and friends in as “normal” of a way as we can during these times - even if it means crossing the border and taking country roads to West Virginia! SOOO... Wear a mask, can’t dance, can’t drink, Sounds like a celebration, don’t you think? (No!) Same day, different plan, We hope you all will understand. Pennsylvania made us flee, Our wedding is now at Oglebay!
