No, you do not. We understand that there might be some people who would feel uncomfortable eating with a larger group of people during the time of a pandemic, even though we are taking precautions. If you feel safer simply attending the ceremony but not the reception we understand! On the RSVP section of our website you can choose whether you will be coming to the ceremony, reception, or both.
The ceremony is completely outside, allowing for extra space and great air flow. There will be options to sit down, but there is also the option to stand in the back, for those who would rather distance themselves from others. The reception will take place in a covered pavilion, where there will be good air flow. All meals will be plated, not buffet-style, and we will be seating people based on family groups, or exposure groups. There will not be a dance floor, as we know that moving around, dancing, and getting close to others is a great way to spread germs. We do not know what October will look like yet, but we will be monitoring the situation, and will take all the precautions needed to be safe.
There will be only a cash bar that will serve only Beer and Wine. No liquor will be available.
If new guidelines are put in place that restrict all outdoor gatherings, the wedding will likely be performed at the current venue, but only with the wedding parties and immediate family members. However a live stream of the wedding will be available to watch like or at a later date.
If you have or think you have been exposed to novel corona virus in the two weeks prior to the wedding, we ask that you do not attend for the safety of those attending the ceremony. There are attendees that have underlying health conditions, and they are exposed they will likely not make it. A live stream of the wedding will be available to watch or view at a later date.
