Dearest family and friends, because your health and safety are our first priority we have decided to postpone our wedding reception until September 5, 2020 (tentative). We will still have our wedding ceremony on June 13, If you are sick, have been feeling ill at all, or feel uncomfortable, we ask that you please do not come to the ceremony. Masks are welcomed and appreciated, so please feel free to wear them. The current health measures state that “Each party or household group must maintain 6 feet distance from others”. Due to this, many people may have to stand. I do assure you that our ceremony will only last about 20 minutes. After the ceremony is over you are welcome to join us and park downtown around the square where Tom and I will shout our love as we drive by. Those of you who are not comfortable coming to the ceremony, but you would still like to see us, you are welcome to park downtown also to help us celebrate becoming Mr.&Mrs. We will plan to be downtown on the Square at 4:45. We are sad that plans had to change, but we cannot wait to party with everyone hopefully in September. Thank you all for being supportive, loving, and flexible during this time of the unknown. Love, Thomas & Allyson
This love story officially began in April of 2017 at a mutual friends birthday celebration (despite having been acquainted prior). At the beginning of the night neither of them thought much of it, but towards the end of the night; and after they had indulged in enough liquid courage, numbers were exchanged and they immediately knew an adventure was about to begin. It took Thomas almost a month to muster the confidence to ask Allyson on a proper date. During this date they began to realize just how much they had in common; from their love of softball, to their hair care routine (kidding, or am I?) After this first date is when they both realized, "Hey, this could really be something", and the rest is history.
