We first met at the senior prank at our high school. So theoretically we started out as goofballs! I met him my very last week of high school and for that we are eternally grateful because we will always be able to refer to each other as “High School Sweethearts” no matter how late it happened!

Our three year anniversary was coming up and I really wanted some nice pictures of us so I asked my sister, Kayleigh, to take some for us. She suggested we go to the Dallas Arboretum. I I convinced myself and unconvinced myself several times leading up to this day and by the time the day came around I was fully convinced nothing would happen, being that Dustin, per usual, was calm, cool, and collected. He always said he wanted my sisters there when he proposed and 2 of the 3 were going to be there for the pictures. We took pictures at the arboretum for several hours and by the final stop before we left he got down on one knee and said “Let’s do a Cinderella moment.” He then proceeded to take my shoe off and put it back on and next thing I knew he was pulling a ring out of his pocket. It was the easiest yes ever!!

We are SO EXCITED to have everyone we love to be there and support us on this new chapter of our lives!
