Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, you can find it on a tab at the top of the website. Please don't bring gifts to the reception as there is limited space. You can send gifts to the couple's address at: 2521 N Ashland Ave Apt 2S, Chicago IL 60614.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the size constraints of the reception boat, unless your invitation says guest, we prefer it to be just you.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We recommend Uber or Lyft to get around. There is a parking lot next to the ceremony location and several garages near the reception location. If you are driving yourself, we recommend using SpotHero to RSVP a garage spot for the best price.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

This event starts at 4pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in. The ceremony will be outside (sun protection but no rain protection), the reception will be outside on a boat (riverfront and lakefront). We expect it to be windy (as this is the windy city). There will be a covered area inside the boat. Please dress accordingly.

Is the reception at a different location?

Answer

Yes, the reception is located on the Riverwalk near downtown Chicago while the ceremony is in Lincoln Park (our neighborhood). It will take an estimated 15-20 minutes to get to the reception location from the ceremony. We have allotted a 1 hour and 45 minute gap between the ceremony and reception to use at your leisure to enjoy the beautiful Chicago summer. Please be on time to the reception as the boat will leave promptly at 7:30pm.
