You're having us come to Spring Lake during Coast Guard?!

Answer

Trust us, we KNOW. While this was the only date that the venue could accommodate us for the whole day, we definitely don't want any of you to get stuck in traffic. We recommend giving yourself extra time to get into the area early, if possible. The Coast Guard fireworks will primarily attract tourists into downtown Grand Haven, so we suggest avoiding routes and segments of US-31 that will be in those congested areas. What's the parking situation look like?

Answer

• The main driveway off W Spring Lake Rd. down to the club is very narrow & makes two-way traffic tricky. To best avoid a face-off with another car, please refrain from leaving & re-entering the property to the best of your abilities. • Parking spaces in the lot are very limited & thus are reserved for key vendors / wedding VIPs. Parking attendants will guide guests to park in zones allocated on the grass lot as well as in the field by the volleyball court. • If you know other guests that will be attending & could carpool together to help us reduce parking congestion, we HIGHLY encourage you to consider this option.

How will I get home afterwards?

Answer

Ubers / Lyfts will likely be surging at night due to the nearby Coast Guard Festival in Grand Haven & will have trouble getting down to the club through the driveway / parking areas. We recommend selecting a designated driver from your group as well as drinking responsibly throughout the night. We’ll have plenty for you to do if you need to wait it off!

What kind of vibe can I expect? What should I wear?

Answer

• Design Themes: Nautical, Beachy, Relaxed, Bohemian, & a little Retro! • Suggestions: Wear whatever suits your fancy, but light colors, florals, & breathable fabrics are ideas to consider. •Hats & Shorts Policy: You’re more than welcome to cover your head or bare your knees if you’d like! • Colors / Styles to Avoid: Wear whatever you’d like except, of course, for WHITE. =) • Tips: Temps are forecasted around 85º so choose appropriate fabrics, but we are also on the water, so extra layers for the evening is never a bad call!

• BBQ Dinner: Brisket, Chicken, Pasta Salad, Au Gratin Potatoes, Bread, Veggies, & Slaw • Cocktail Hour Appetizers: Charcuterie & Selected Finger Foods • Dessert: Cake & Ice Cream / Frozen Treats • Bar: Beer, Wine, Seltzers, Select Mixed Drinks, & Signature Cocktails • Booze-Free Bevs: Coffee Bar, Lemonade, & Iced Tea

Are you going to make me put my phone away?

Answer

We don’t care much about forcing you all to be unplugged, but if we see your phones out, we're putting you to work! =) Soooo.... SURPRISE - You’re our videographers now! We’ve set up a digital album via Kululu where all of our guests can share their videos (and pictures) to our event dashboard. No apps or downloads required – just scan a QR code that we'll have displayed for you & start sharing memories with us. Even cooler yet? All the uploads submitted will feed into a slideshow rotation on our venue’s TVs in real-time!

Are there any risks, rules, or safety tips we should know?

Answer

• Be vigilant when near the water or on the docks. There won’t be any lifeguard present, so please keep your kids (or your dates) from swimming! • Ubers / Lyfts may be hard to obtain due to the Coastguard Festival nearby, so please drink responsibly or assign someone in your group as a designated driver. • Although there may be watercrafts present on the property, they belong to either the club or other club members, so please be respectful & don’t take anything out for a joyride.
