We knew who the other was through various homeschool classes and events that we were involved in or our siblings were involved in. We crossed paths a few times but never really talked to each other or got to know each other. Until Ben asked me to cut his hair. And its been a whirlwind of lovin and friendship ever since ;)

Ben and I both feel strongly that God's purpose for marriage is to bring two sinful people together, who can mirror His love for the church body, who can serve him better as a team, and help each other in their pursuit of being more like Christ. It's for these beautiful and wonderful reasons that Ben and I are pursuing marriage. To be an example of Christ's love to the church (Ephesians 5:21-33), to serve Jesus better together than we can apart, and to help each other to grow in our love for the Lord. So one day we can both stand before Jesus, as the fully whole and radiant creatures he made us to be, and say that we did it together. And also because we love each other a whole stinkin' lot <3
