Whew!!! So Tyler and myself met back in 2016, we both were working at T-Mobile his brother, and best friend as well. We both were already in relationships so it was absolutely nothing then! Fast forward to 2019, both coming out of absolutely toxic relationships and losing ourselves to finding each other, in each other! Right where we needed to be: broken; but baby broken crayons still color, and baby we color loud and proud! As he poured into me I did the same, we literally are the total opposite but we balance each other so well. God is the center and first, any and everything else is second. He loves my kids and they cherish and adore him! 🙌🏾We vowed to always no matter what be honest, loyal and open to growing and not being stagnant. Baby when I tell you God has his hand in this, ALL UP IN THIS!!! We finish each other sentences, we have A ton of things in common, we value each other feelings and opinions as he makes me feel like the only woman in the world. Tyler is everything I prayed for and more, and I thank God for his mother raising him the way she did, and instilling in him all she has. Losing my mom just two years in, this man MY MAN never left my side. If I wanted to go walk the beach in the middle of the night in Galveston no questions asked we went. Although, we’ve made sacrifices one into which honey I thought was the end #BUTGOD. He's allowed me to be soft, vulnerable, emotional, and he LEADS the household like no other! He loves me for me, I love him for him without any reservation. There are no secrets we're an open book. We hold each other accountable, PDA, y'all I be having to remind him we in public LOL #IYKYK!I love his family, my family adores him and welcomed him with open arms as his family did with me as well. We launched a business March of 2023, with the help and guidance from his beautiful mom whom he now share with me 😘 and I love it lol and our business partners. Well we had an event late September going into October with over 20,000 people there, millionaires, families, business partners. I had the slightest idea that he had purchased a ring, planned to propose in front of a ton of business leaders!! If you know Tyler then you know he’s not talkative, he's more chilled and reserved but baby MY MAN MY MAN!!! Had a plan with God, y’all listen this man stood center, and started talking pulled that nice box out! I stopped breathing, my wig started lifting, I was sweating, I took my lashes off! I was so taken aback from it all, so darn shocked and in awe. That he did all of this for me! I SAID HELL YES!! & everyone knew but me. I bless God that he was considerate enough to ask my son for my hand, since my father is no longer here. He did everything I always wanted and more but baby not being proposed to in front of 20,000 people and millionaires. Each time I look at my ring, I instantly cry, happy tears I wish my mom and dad was here to see: the happiness in my eyes, see the joy I have in my heart, the gratitude for it all and to witness the grace God has given us both! The seeds we've sown, the prayers we've prayed, the lesson in being still, waiting on God and trusting God and not man. 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 has been my prayer, and now it's: OURS!! 5/16/25 his 30th birthday we’ll be saying I do!! #BecomingAOglesby
