Maid of Honor
Some people come into your life and it just feels... familiar. Like somehow y’all already knew each other before the introduction even happened. That’s Gina for me. From the moment we met when I was moving into my college dorm, it felt less like making a new friend and more like reconnecting with somebody I was always supposed to know. Considering we were born less than 24 hours apart, honestly, it makes perfect sense. Over the years, we’ve really done a little bit of everything together. Life has changed around us a hundred times, but one thing that never has is knowing I’ll always have her in my corner, and she’ll always have me in hers. There’s something rare about having a friendship where you never feel judged, never feel like you have to explain yourself, and never have to pretend to be anything other than exactly who you are. Gina is one of the few people I can sit in complete silence with and still feel completely understood by. We just get each other. Sometimes it’s one look across the room and an entire conversation happens without a single word being said. That kind of connection is something I’ll never take for granted. Being her Maid of Honor isn’t just a title to me — it’s an honor in the realest sense because she’s family. Not by blood, but by every other thing that actually matters. Love you, girl!

James Sutton and I met on August 5, 1996, as freshmen with the Miami Hurricanes. From day one, his mom, Teresa, and his family welcomed all of us as if we were their own. We were suitemates, road trip roommates, and linebackers together, but more than that, we became brothers. James has always had a lighthearted spirit and a sense of humor that made every situation better and everyone around him feel at ease. Over the years, our bond only grew stronger through football, business, and countless early morning conversations about life. Having no brothers of my own, James became the brother I always wished for. Now, nearly thirty years later, he remains one of my closest friends and someone I can always count on, especially when I need a good laugh. Congratulations, my brother. You deserve nothing but the very best. Cheers to you and your beautiful bride.
Bridesmaid
Although Gina and I both attended Croissant Park Elementary, we did not truly connect until sixth grade at Lauderhill Middle during the 1995–1996 school year. From that point forward, we shared countless experiences through clubs, programs, and especially during our high school years at Boyd Anderson High. Despite the different paths and life-changing moments we each encountered, our loyalty to one another never wavered. Ours has always been the kind of friendship that does not require constant communication to remain strong. Even after months apart, we can pick up right where we left off, as if no time has passed. You have consistently offered wisdom, embraced your natural curiosity and insight, and shown up when it mattered most. True friendship is not defined by time, but by the depth of trust, love, and the bond that is formed. I believe this is exactly what you and James share. Therefore, I pray that your marriage surpasses every expectation, and that you both continue to keep God at the center of your union—always.

Gina and I met 14 years ago at work. Back then, she used to bring me some of Maliyah’s snacks in exchange for longer breaks… so technically our friendship was built on bribery and fruit snacks. 😂 Over the years, our friendship grew into something truly special. We’ve spent countless hours calling each other to vent about life, relationships, work, and everything in between. Gina has always been the kind of person who listens without judgment and gives the most genuine, sound advice. One thing I’ve always admired about her is her strength, wisdom, and the unconditional love she pours into the people she cares about, especially Maliyah, Jamie, and now her future husband. Fun fact about Gina that most people may not know: she is NOT a touchy-feely person at all. But one day I brought it to her attention, and eventually she allowed me to hug her… which honestly felt like I had unlocked a rare achievement in friendship. 😂 Gina is truly one of the sweetest human beings I know. She welcomed me into her life and introduced me to her mom, dad, sisters, and entire family. Family means everything to Gina, and it makes me so happy to see God bless her with a union where she can continue sharing that same love with the Sutton family. Congratulations, Bestie ❤️ Wishing you a lifetime filled with love, laughter, peace, and happiness.
