Does the venue have valet parking?

Answer

No, parking is offsite about 2 blocks away at 14 Market Street. Trolleys, driven by off-duty Paterson police officers and firemen, will transport you to the door of the venue. There are a limited number of handicapped parking spots at the Art Factory's onsite parking lot. Please contact Allison or Vincent to make arrangements.

What is The Art Factory?

Answer

The Art Factory is 12 miles from NYC and is easily accessible from Route 80. It consists of 21 19th-century factory buildings on 5 acres of land next to the Paterson Great Falls National Park. It was once home to the largest jute manufacturer in the US, built in the 1840s. It now hosts weddings, and has boutiques, studios, woodworking facilities, and photography/filming space and is open 24/7. Once we saw the venue, we immediately fell in love with the rustic, historical, and artsy ambiance and our search was over! www.myfactorystores.com

What if I arrive early?

Answer

The Art Factory is located next to the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park (see "Things To Do" tab). There is a cafe on the 1st floor of The Art Factory where you can relax and purchase a snack or a beverage prior to the ceremony. Chef G made us a delicious snack the last time we visited!

What about COVID-19?

Answer

We are trying to be optimistic about the progress of the vaccinations and the efforts of those who continue to follow the CDC guidelines and the governor's restrictions. We are confident that our venue and all of our vendors have the safety of our guests as their primary concern. Our reception room has a capacity of nearly 500 guests and we are less than 20% of that capacity. So, tables and seating will be arranged with as much comfort as possible.
