What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional! You have the option to wear your most formal attire (e.g., evening gown or tuxedo), but you are also welcome to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress instead.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

While we encourage you to enjoy a fun, adults-only evening out, please let us know if your children will be joining you. We can then be sure to order a meal from the kids' menu for children ages 3-11.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will cover the cost of parking for the wedding. Please tell Lido House that you are there for the White Mertens wedding.

Do we have a hotel room block?

Answer

We do not have a room block with any hotel, as we expect that people will want to stay at a variety of accommodations. However, we have provided recommendations for hotels in the area (under "Travel"). Please let us know if you have any questions about where to stay.

Do we need a car?

Answer

California was designed for cars. If you are hoping to extend your stay and visit some of the fun attractions in the area, a car would probably be helpful. However, there is also a lot to do on the Balboa Peninsula, which is quite walkable. The Lido House is at the beginning of the peninsula and is a 10 minute walk to the ocean.
