There's no wrong answer for BBQ in Austin, but Terry Blacks is by far our personal favorite. There will always be a line, but you'll never wait long. (Any wait will 100% be worth it)

Our favorite bar! Excellent food, cheap prices, and everything makes you feel like you're back in the 80's.
Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bat Bridge
Over 1 million Mexican free-tailed bats call this bridge home each year (the largest urban bat colony in the world) and September is prime bat season. Each night around sunset you'll see thousands of bats emerge in flocks for over 45 minutes. People come from all over the world to experience, and there's nothing quite like watching.
Barton Springs Pool
It's going to be hot, enjoy a swim in Austin's natural spring with views of downtown. The water is 68° year round, so be ready.
Zilker Metropolitan Park
The most beautiful spot in town. Take the dogs, bring a snack, just sit down and enjoy the views of downtown.
