To new beginnings

In a very healthy and safe fashion, Stephen and Allison met through a friend of a friend. Allison’s friend Kimberly hosts an impromptu kickball game where anyone and everyone can show up to play. The two played a few games together along with attending her hot-pot get togethers. One day it was decided that they would have a double date with Rob & Kimberly. The date took place at the NC Farmer’s Market on January 24th, 2024. Stephen was unsure whether this was a date or not, but afterwards he still took the plunge in asking Allison to Lunch at Coco Bongo. From there they went on many dates, some helped along by his sister Camilla’s advice, and made it official on March 24th, 2024. Upon reflection, it’s sort of odd important days are on the 24th for them. However, they got engaged on November 23, 2025. Breaking the pattern, but still oddly close. Their engagement was at Half Moon Bay, on a beautiful, yet windy day. Allison had a bit of an inkling that something was to come. On their way to the beach she sneaked a picture of her hand as a “before” shot and sent it to Kimberly. On the beach, Stephen found a spot where a kid or couple prior had made a heart out of seaweed and shells. Finding this to be kismet, he proposed the question before it. And the rest is yet to come!
