I met Ali at a party my Senior year of college, and I can't say watching her play dizzy bat with Polar Bear was love at first sight. I always told myself I'd never get a girlfriend through college, half in fear of bringing them around my mother, and half in fear of bringing them around my mother. That being said, I just had to ask this beautiful girl for her number (via instagram message after the party of course) and stay in touch going forward, because you never know... maybe she'll become available! Anyway, we stayed in touch on and off for a few years after college as I moved to Florida for my first job! . A few months later, I decided I was ready to move back up North and make millions with Scott. It turns out, investing your savings with a middle aged man who you've known for six months is not the best idea... didn't work out. But thank god it didn't... because it was about this time I started convincing Ali into allowing me to take her out to dinner. So, living in my friend's mom's basement (Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Wittke) and driving a used, base model, non-power seat BMW that i couldn't afford...it was on! Driving to and from Philadelphia from Annapolis is nothing! (2.5 hours each way no traffic) Over time, things got more serious, and I was hooked. Since I had so much going for me at the time (Please see above re: friend's mom's basement and no money) it was a tough decision, but I ended up coming to Philadelphia. A late Saturday night google search of "project management jobs in Philadelphia please dear god" landed me an opportunity with a job I absolutely love and a real chance to make this work. Four years later, I have the woman of my dreams, the house of my dreams (I didn't say it was a perfect dream alright), and an incredible group of friends & family who I could not be more excited to celebrate this day with. I love you, Ali, more than anything in the world and I am honored to be your husband.
