Where should I stay?

Answer

We have set up a block of rooms Sept 25-27 at the Courtyard by Marriott in Middlebury, VT which is about 30 minutes away from where our wedding will take place. This block expires 30 days before the check in date so make sure to book before then! The Bomoseen and Castleton area also has a lot of Air Bnbs if you book early! If you're into it, you can even camp on the property or down the street at the KOA!

Can I bring a guest?

We cannot accommodate everyone's plus ones and children, please do not bring a guest or your kids unless it's specifically indicated on your invite.

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking will be on grass on the property.

Is there a shuttle from my hotel?

Answer

There are unfortunately no shuttles going from the hotel to the wedding.

What should I wear?

Answer

We are asking our guests dress for fall formal/cocktail attire. Think midi or floor length dresses and flats or block heels as the wedding is on grass. For the gentlemen suits and ties are more than welcome, as are khakis and a sport coat!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Please! We'd love to see the photos you take from our wedding we just ask that you don't take any during the ceremony and please don't post any of us until we've had a chance to post ourselves first!

Is there a bar service?

There is not a bar service but there will be a self serve open bar with beer, wine, and some hard liquor.

What is there to do in the area?

Answer

No matter where you're staying you're a stone's throw away from great hiking, views, and breweries! If you're staying near Middlebury, we cannot recommend Fire and Ice enough for dinner! It's fabulous. If you're staying near Castleton, The Lake Bomoseen Lodge is a great option for dinner or Third Place if you're into a more casual vibe.
