Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa- ROOM BLOCK

Located directly on the Lake and a central hub for all things Arrowhead. Only 5 minutes from the wedding venue and attached to the Village for easy access to shops, restaurants, pharmacy and the lakeside itself. They are a great spot for anyone traveling with kids thanks to their kids theater, and have a spa, pool/hot tub and good lobby restaurant. Think of it as a classic hotel, but in the mountain! Also, it's a short 3-4 min walk to the Brewery where our welcome gathering will be, and also the site of where our wedding afterparty will be hosted! Overall, the easy pick for an all in one location without any extra work. PLEASE NOTE: We have a pre-set ROOM BLOCK at this venue to provide better rates for friends staying there. This is a beautiful property with more luxury and peace/quiet amongst the trees. Located approximately 4 min from the wedding venue; more upscale than Arrowhead resort and great rates, but limited rooms so book fast!

Lakeside Cabins

For those wanting a unique Lake and/or nature experience, we highly recommend renting a cabin on AirBnB. There are countless options and many are stunning! If you plan to stay with friends or other couples, this can also be an ideal way to rent a big place for cost efficiency and a true Arrowhead experience!

John Wayne Airport (code SNA)

The closest major airport. Easy to fly in/out of, and approximately a 1.5hr drive to the Lake. Minimal lines, rental car availability, and nonstops to many cities and 1-stop solution to anywhere in the US. By far easier to fly into than LAX!

Ontario International Airport (ONT)

ONT is the closest major international airport to Arrowhead, and does provide many regional connections and some nonstop options, along with rental car service. If you can find a good flight, this will be the best option, otherwise stick with John Wayne for domestic, and LAX for major international flights.

LAX- Los Angeles International Airport

LAX is a major global hub. It will offer direct flights for those coming from abroad and for those from smaller cities. Depending on traffic (a huge issue to consider), it can range from 2.5-3hrs to reach Arrowhead.

National Car Rental

One of many rental car providers at both John Wayne and LAX. We HIGHLY recommend those flying in to rent a car and NOT rely on Uber/Lyft as they are not active and dependable for the mountain. We also recommend coordinating with anyone you know who is flying in to consider carpooling!

For those who don't want to drive to and from the wedding! Highly recommend to call them and book rides in advance. They can often also provide transport to the airport if needed, but again call ahead for any of these requests.

Lake Arrowhead Weather information

This site provides an overview of general temperatures during early October. Typically, the days are ideal with temperatures around 70 degrees, but the early morning and evenings will cool down to the high-50s, so come prepared with at least a warm jacket/puffer and something for wedding night!
