What weather should I expect?

Answer

The average weather is typically pleasant and mild. The average high temperature is around 79°F and the average low is around 56°F. We suggest layers since the weather can be varying.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors, while the reception will be mostly indoors with outdoor activities for you to explore. There will be grass to walk on at the reception when planning your shoes.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures at the church for around thirty minutes. Guests can drive over to the reception hall (about 10 minutes away) or ride the shuttle service where snacks and drinks will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 6 pm, with dancing to follow.

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue(s)?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided in the form of a shuttle service. For more information on the shuttle schedule please view the travel and accommodation tab. Parking is very easy at both the ceremony and the reception. At the church, the parking is located in both the front and back of the venue. At the venue, parking will be in the front of the establishment with an attendant to direct and park.

How do I RSVP?

We sure hope you’ll be able to join us for your special day. With your invitation, there is an RSVP card that you can fill out and return, or feel free to click the RSVP tab and let us know your plans right here on our website.

Please get us your RSVP by August 3rd to reserve your seats.

Can I bring my kids? Will there be a babysitter?

Answer

Since one of us has a huge extended family, we’ve chosen to limit our guest list to fourteen-year-olds and over, and we hope you understand. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help!

I have dietary restrictions, what’s the best way to communicate that with you?

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We do not have a hotel block, but recommend you stay at either Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront or SpringHill Suites Dallas Rockwall. We will have transportation available from the parking lot in front of the Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront for the entirety of the wedding night.
