Can't wait to celebrate with you!

Superbowl Sunday, 2020 - Allison is just hanging at the bar with some friends when Paul walks in. Paul gets invited to join by one of the friends. Just some talking and maybe a picture, but just another night. Fast forward to the end of Feb. 2020 - They meet again, at the same bar. This time they hang out all night. 2 nights later they decide to meet back at the same bar. Allison gives Paul a list of reasons they should not date. Paul simply replies by giving her a kiss. That next morning Paul is on a plane, headed out of the country on a vacation. Despite the distance, they start to fall for each other. They fell in love during that vacation, not that they would admit that for a few weeks.

Allison is not a very easy person to surprise... Paul thought he was slick and covered his tracks when him and Jackson picked out her engagement ring. All was well...until she got an email showing a new statement on her jewelry card account (August 17, 2022). I know, I know, how silly of Paul to use her card. BUT he was actually very smart and traded in some jewelry she never wore to get her a ring even better than the one she wanted. He tried covering his tracks and changed contact details at the jeweler but she still found out. So now that Allison knows about the ring, she annoyingly continues to question every outing, event coming up or potential date nights. Paul is well aware of how annoying his future wife is though so he comes up with a plan... Camping trip - August 25, 2022 - Allison continues to be annoying about the subject (what's new haha) and thinks she has Paul pegged. Paul convinces her the ring is locked up at his job because she can't be trusted to not be nosey. She thoroughly believes him, which is good for Paul as he is silently panicking she will find it in the truck door as she is unpacking for the trip. Thankfully she does not and their camping continues like any other. The next afternoon Paul tells Allison he wants everyone to go on a walk and take sunset photos. She is stoked about how cute the idea is! The whole camping crew starts to get ready for their walk, but of course the secret camera man (shout out to groomsman Mike P. !) was running behind. Allison, for once in her life, is not rushing and at the back of the pack. The sun starts slowly setting and they are not quite at the designated spot, that Allison has no idea about, but they find a clearing overlooking the lake. Paul, Allison and Jax get their photo taken first...then Paul drops to his knee. She is completely taken off guard, but in true Allison fashion rushes Paul to ask his question as waiting seems like it is taking an eternity. She is beyond happy to say YES and so excited for the next chapter ahead.
