We are both big fans of the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Allison's Dad read the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy to her as a child, and the film adaptations are on heavy rotation at Paul and Allison's house. We are going to exchange vows and sign our marriage license privately about a month before our reception. We really wanted our dear family and friends to share in our joy, but also wanted to take some of the pressure and expense off of having One Big Day. So no, there will not be a ceremony at this event.
