Arrive in Florence

Guests can arrive in Florence any date they would like, but we would recommend arriving at least one day prior to Oct 7th when we will depart for the Villa just in case you run into any travel delays.

We want folks to use this time to do what they want! No scheduled events for the group but we would love to see people when it works for their schedule. See “things to do” section for recommendations on food, sight seeing, etc.

Bus to venue (Tenuta Sant’Ilario)

Please meet at the Amerigo Vespucci airport promptly at 2pm. To get here you can take the T2 tram which has multiple pick up locations around the city with the main one being just outside of the Santa Maria Novella Train Station. This tram will drop off right in front of the Airport. Tram from the Santa Maria Novella train station to the airport takes approx 20min. From here, we will have two mini-busses which will take the entire group to the venue. There will be plenty of space on the buses to store luggage. You’re welcome to schedule your own transportation to the venue but we do caution that it is not possible to get there by train or public transportation. A rental car or taxi would be required. A taxi would cost ~$250.

Breakfast is included with the stay both mornings and a casual lunch will be provided before the wedding. Lunch will include salad, flat breads, fruit, etc.

Bus back to Florence
11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Friday morning, the buses will pick us up from the villa and take us back to Florence dropping us off at the airport. From here we can take the T2 tram back into city center.
Saturday, October 10, 2026
Depart Florence
12:00 pm
Guests are welcome to depart Florence to head home, stick around to explore Italy, or take off for the next leg of their vacation any time they would like, but Saturday the 10th will mark the “official end” of our celebration.
