When should I RSVP by?

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

We invite you to RSVP online on our website to save paper and prevent your response possibly getting lost in the mail! Easily RSVP by finding your name under the “RSVP” tab. If you choose to mail your RSVP, kindly attach a stamp with your response and mail and mail no later than January 5, 2024.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive by 3:00 pm to allow enough time to be seated accordingly.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire is cocktail attire. It's a balance between elegant and comfortable and fancy and pared-back. Floor-length dresses are not required, ok to opt for a tea-length, knee-length, or midi look. Tuxedos are not required, suit and tie are preferred. Come polished and dressy but wear comfortable shoes, as we expect you with us on the dance floor!

Can I bring a date?

Our goal is to keep our very special weekend as intimate as possible. We are choosing to celebrate with only our closest family and friends. Thank you for respecting our wishes.

The ceremony and reception are all conveniently located at one place! And yes, the venue is ADA and wheelchair compliant and accessible! Canopy Grove 1859 Abby Lane Escondido, CA 92026 United Status

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of complimentary parking onsite.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. There will be outdoor standing heaters, but please bring a jacket if you get cold!

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Yes! Please refer to the “Travel” section of our website. There are special rates and discounted room blocks at the Fairfield by Marriott San Diego North/San Marcos and at the Best Western Escondido. The hotel room blocks and special rates will become *unavailable* to book after January 16, 2024, please plan ahead!

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

Answer

Neither hotel has a shuttle service available. Please consider a ride-share service such as Uber, Lyft, or taxi service to and from your hotel or residence, especially if consuming alcohol. We love you and want you to get to and from your lodging safely!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate guests under age 21 on our wedding day. We appreciate your understanding.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

After we say “I do!” there will be cocktails, light appetizers, and lawn games to enjoy while we take photos as newlyweds and with our family. Don’t worry, we won’t keep you hungry!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We love our photographer and you will too! Please keep all cell phones, cameras and other devices turned off during the ceremony to enjoy this special moment with us. After the ceremony, PLEASE take an obscene amount of photos so we can remember our special night from your perspective!
