We had a mutual friend named Mo. She was Allie’s roommate and Nathaniel’s classmate. That semester she told Nathaniel all about her new roommate, but he wasn’t very interested. One day at a church event Mo sat Allie down next to Nathaniel and left them to talk. They found that the other person was surprisingly easy to talk to. And they had a lot in common, like their desire to travel the world and make it a better place with their future careers. Later, Nathaniel attempted to ask Allie on a date, but she said no! (She had other plans). Well later he asks her to come with him to the city and she says yes this time, ready for a first date. Little did she know that he had invited a whole group of friends…but no one else showed up. So from their first “not-date” sparks flew, and they knew they wanted to keep spending time together. Fast forward to today and they are happy to seal their love that may have started by accident but grew into much more. We are happy to all who will be able to celebrate with us either in person or from a distance!
