Michael and I have been together for what seems like forever, 10 years to be exact. We first met in the fall of 2009 when we were in the 7th grade. We were preparing for our schools trip to Washington DC and met through some mutual friends. For the next few years, we saw each other on occasion until we became closer freshman year of high school. We both played basketball, and would hangout together everyday after school until our practices began. On February 16th 2011, Michael finally asked me to be his girlfriend, and we haven't looked back since.

It was a typical warm summer day on our boat on The Connecticut River. We had just finished up an afternoon of knee boarding and were cruising along taking photos underneath a bridge when Michael asked me to marry him. He had gotten all of our closest friends and family to watch from the bridge behind us. They had champagne and confetti rain down on us from above and of course, I said yes!
