The Merriweather District is a local hub for entertainment and dining. It includes a walking trail around Lake Kittamaqundi, GameOn Bar + Arcade, and a variety of local businesses. For food and drink, we recommend The Offshore Collective (enjoy a view of the lake), Busboys and Poets (a local staple for art, books and food), Cured and 18th & 21st (offers a more upscale eatery and a hidden speakeasy-style jazz club), and The Charmery ice cream shop (we recommend the ice cream sandwich flavor).
The first Guiness Brewery in America, located on the site of the historic Calvert distillery in Baltimore County. Visit the beer garden and tap room (Mike's personal favorite is the El Dorado Amber), or book a guided tour or tasting.
