There are two main airports we recommend for traveling to Long Beach Island: Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR): Located about 88 miles from LBI, Newark is a convenient option with a wide range of domestic and international flights. From the airport, it’s typically 1 - 1.5 hour drive to LBI. Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) Philadelphia is a similar distance (roughly 90 miles) from Long Beach Island and also offers a variety of flight options. The drive time is generally around 1 - 1.5 hours. We recommend looking into a rental car from airport to LBI.
