Allison and Logan met through Allison's twin sister's boyfriend (now Husband!) , Brian, when he invited Logan on the Janka family boat for the day. The two hit it off right away. A couple days later, Logan asked Allison on a date to Graeter's ice cream. Allison really liked Logan and knew she would need some liquid courage, so she suggested Braxton's Brewery instead. The two had a blast getting to know each other and finished the first date with a trip to Devou Park to see the stars overtop the Ohio River. Four years later, and the couple has been inseparable ever since!

On April 24th, 2021, Logan tricked Allison into thinking they were planning to meet his parents at Brianza Gardens and Winery for a staycation. Visiting their favorite winery with Logan's parents was not unusual since Brianza is halfway between Cincinnati and where his parents lived in Louisville. Logan's parents told the couple that they were "running late", so Allison and Logan snuck in a wine tasting. On the walk back to the cottage in the rain, Logan suggested a short-cut over an old, beautiful covered bridge. As they stepped onto the covered bridge... Logan stopped in his tracks, got down on one knee and proposed to Allison! She was shocked, but SO happy and *of course* said YES! Her twin sister and best friend had set up a camera to capture the proposal and popped out to take photos and celebrate the special moment. Once they finally reached the cottage, Allison was surprised by her family and friends for a night of celebration!

When Allison and Logan are not hanging out with their beloved cat, Reggie (she's a black tuxedo cat and has no tail!), you can catch the couple on long walks, drinking wine or High Noons, and probably at Forno Osteria and Bar. Saturdays in the fall and spring are reserved for cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats...Go Big Blue!
