Kolton moved from Michigan to Tennessee when he joined the Army and was stationed at Fort Campbell. Alli moved from Illinois to Tennessee when she attended Austin Peay State University. Once Alli graduated college and Kolton had been in the military for 2.5 years, their mutual friends conspired and set up Kolton and Alli on a (half) blind double date. The four went to Dock 17 in Clarksville, TN. They ate, went bowling, and finished the night with a horror movie.

After a few foiled plans, Kolton decided to propose at Pilot Rock, KY. The first time they went to Pilot Rock just-so-happened to be exactly 2 years and 3 days prior to the day they got engaged. Kolton successfully climbed to the top of the cliff without losing the ring and Alli was definitely surprised.

From trips to the beach, Michigan lakes, Tennessee waterfalls, and Illinois Garden of the Gods, to long-distance deployments and Michigan State Police Academy, Kolton and Alli make a great team and they can't wait to take the next steps in their adventure together.
