When should I RSVP by?

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we can accommodate only the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding—we’re so excited to celebrate with you!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Our ceremony will begin at 3:30 PM CST. We recommend arriving a little early so you can get settled and soak in the beautiful surroundings, we can’t wait to share this moment with you!

Do I need a passport or visa?

Answer

You do not need a visa, but you will need a passport.

Can I adjust my stay dates and arrive later or extend my stay?

Answer

Yes! If you’d like to arrive earlier, or extend your stay, please email Natalie Mendoza with your reservation confirmation number and the dates you’d like to modify. She will help update your reservation based on availability. You can find her contact information under the Travel tab.

Are meals or drinks included?

When you reserve the room, it will tell you that breakfast is included. We are providing food for the welcome dinner and ceremony.

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a fun, relaxing getaway with us!

How far is the hotel from the venue?

The hotel is the venue, and we will be having the welcome dinner and the wedding at El Mangrove. The Matiss will be hosting our welcome dinner, and the wedding will be happening at the Garden Plaza!

The currency used is the Colón and U.S dollar.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The Garden Plaza is outdoors!

What is the time difference between Costa Rica and the U.S.?

Answer

Costa Rica is in Central Standard Time (CST) and does not observe Daylight Saving Time. For most of the year, Costa Rica is 2 hours behind the U.S. Eastern Time Zone. We recommend double-checking your flight and event times before traveling to ensure you're on schedule!
