We met while we were both still in college at Rutgers University, at a time when neither of us could have imagined how much our lives were about to change. What started as a simple first date quickly turned into something neither of us wanted to end—we spent twelve hours together that day, wandering around campus, talking about everything and nothing, and losing track of time completely. Somewhere between the laughter, the long conversations, and the familiar feeling that came far too quickly, it became clear that this was something special. By the end of the day, it felt like we hadn’t just gone on a date, but had found our person. From that moment on, there was no doubt—we were exactly where we were meant to be.
