We can't wait to celebrate with you!

After multiple attempts by mutual friends trying to get Michael and Allison to meet, Michael eventually reached out to Allison on Instagram in July 2017. (He slid in the DM's!) Once hurricane Harvey finally dissipated in September, Michael asked Allison to Local Table for a first date, in which Allison calls their "millennial blind date". Michael jokes that Houston could not handle the couple's chemistry, as Houston enforced a city-wide curfew that night and their date had to be cut short after dinner and drinks! But not even a hurricane could stop the love of Michael and Allison, as they both knew this would be their last first date.

The best. Day. Ever!! Michael planned a quiet weekend getaway for just the two of them, or so Allison thought. After a beautiful day of relaxing together at the Athon Farm in Brenham, TX, Michael urged Allison to put down her glass of wine and book to get ready for "dinner reservations". Once ready to leave, Michael knew Allison was first going to want to take a picture, and that is when he got down on one knee! Family is extremely important to the couple, so Michael made sure to include Allison's grandma's diamond in the engagement ring. He also surprised Allison with both of their families at the Athon Farm for a celebration of two families becoming one. Everyone is ecstatic about this upcoming wedding!
