Question

Is there somewhere close to the venue to stay?

Answer

Not really. The closest decent sized town is Eagle, ID. We have rented the venue for the entire weekend so there will be no rush to kick you off the mountain if you have had too much "fun" at the wedding. Wedding Party and some immediate family will be on location Friday-Sunday. We highly encourage coordinating with other out of state guests to car pool. RVs are welcome on the property if that is a rental option for you. There are no RV power hookups.

Question

Who do I call if I have a question once I get to Idaho?

Answer

There is ZERO reception at the venue. Since the wedding party will be there Friday-Sunday, it will be very hard to get ahold of anyone. Try to communicate with other guests on our Facebook Page.

Question

How do we travel to Idaho on a Budget?

Answer

See the (Travel) tab on this page. Plan your travels well in advance and always book airlines tickets on Tuesday mornings when they are the cheapest. We suggest utilizing the Facebook page we created to coordinate if anyone else is traveling from your area. It is encouraged to chip in for a safe vehicle and share hotel rooms. We are all family here.

Question

What else do guests need to know?

Answer

This wedding is not conventional. Friday after 4, the property will be ours. Its basically a wedding campground with fire pits, a volleyball court, showers... you name it. On the morning of the ceremony, we are hosting a Mimosa and Mingle during the arrival time, for friends and family to start relaxing before the ceremony. The wedding parties will take turns joining in on the festivities while also getting ready. Immediate family members will be encouraged to walk down the isle during the ceremony. So start thinking about your strut. Also, this is October in Idaho and we will be on top of a mountain. Even if you look up the weather in Banks, ID it may not be the same once you reach elevation. Wear warm clothes and try to stay away from heals.

Question

Is there an ATM at the Lazy R Ranch.

Answer

No. Cash will be needed prior to your arrival for tips and “Honeymoon” box donations (option to online registry cash donations that will be highly taxed)

Question

Do guests bring wedding gifts?

Answer

Our gift registry is on this site. We will also have a gift card dropbox and cash “honeymoon” box at the venue.

Question

Is it open bar?

Answer

We are covering the mimosa hour. After the ceremony we will have a cash bar outside the barn.
