We're getting married!

Allison and Jeff met at Camp Blue Star in Hendersonville, NC when they were 10 years old. Since young Jeffrey was a bit intimidated by girls, he focused his energy on basketball, archery, and chess, instead of Allison. Twenty summers later, Jeff was in Denver (where Allison lived) for a friend's bachelor party. Now, aside from their Facebook friendship and catching up over lunch a year earlier, Allison and Jeff had lived the entirety of two decades entirely without the other. However, after Allison leaned in for a kiss at the end of their multi-venue date on Thursday, July 14, 2016, and Jeff helped Allison hang pictures in her apartment after brewery hopping the following Sunday, each knew that he/she wouldn't be able to ever go another day without the other. After 8 months of rendezvousing all over the country, Jeff had reached A-List Status on Southwest so he saw no reason for further delay and decided to ask Allison to marry him. And, as they say, the rest is history.

On March 10, 2017 at 3 o'clock in the morning, Jeff woke up Allison after a long night of karaoke with a big surprise. When she woke up, Jeff was in a suit and tie holding a candle to show her his "school project." After Allison struggled to get out bed, Jeff showed her a large photo of the entrance of Camp Blue Star, and explained that was the first time they had met each another. Allison, who was super confused and terrible with surprises, asked Jeff if he was going to propose or kill her. Jeff just ignored her and took her hand to follow him out of the bedroom. Outside the bedroom there was another large photo of the lake at the camp. Around the corner there were rose pedals that led to the kitchen, with candles lit in a heart. There was another large photo of the sunset from camp. At that moment Jeff got down on one knee and asked Allison to marry him. Allison was so shocked pulled Jeff up and said yes, and gave him a hug and kiss. The next morning Jeff said he had a whole weekend planned and they were going to brunch where they had their first date, Acorn. Of course they both were running late, so Jeff said the uber was downstairs and to just hurry up to go downstairs. When they got downstairs there was a very large limo. When the door opened Allison and Jeff's entire immediate family was inside to celebrate for the weekend. Hugs and tears of joy were exchanged and it would be a proposal that would never be forgotten.
