Welcome Party: Mountain Chic We’d love to kick off the weekend with a relaxed, elevated vibe. Gentlemen, think comfortable button-downs with jeans or shorts. Ladies, think jeans with flowy tops or summery dresses. Light, summery colors are welcome! Wedding: Formal Attire Requested Ladies, we invite you to wear full-length dresses. Think rich neutrals, earthy tones, and elegant patterns inspired by the mountain setting. Kindly note the bridal party will be in muted green tone, so we encourage guests to choose other colors if possible. A shawl or wrap is encouraged for cooler evenings. Gentlemen, dark suits with a jacket and tie are requested. Farewell Brunch: Come as you are. Most guests flying in will drive from Denver International Airport to Vail, which is about a 2–3 hour trip depending on traffic. The drive along Interstate 70 is beautiful but does include mountain roads and higher elevations. If possible, we recommend planning your drive during daylight hours and choosing a rental car you’re comfortable driving in mountain terrain.
If you’d like to kick off the weekend with us, we recommend arriving in Vail Thursday afternoon so you’re settled in before the welcome party that evening. If you’re planning to attend the wedding only, we recommend arriving by Friday midday so you have time to get to the ceremony. Please see the Schedule page for event times and locations.
Vail sits at about 8,000 feet above sea level. If you're coming from lower elevations, we recommend drinking plenty of water!!
