FAQs

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please visit the RSVP tab on our website and respond by Friday, September 18th.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to arrive 20-30 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for seating. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30.

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

We are planning on having the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will be indoors. Weather late October in Texas is usually in the mid 70s, but we recommend checking the forecast closer to the date.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is black tie optional. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, along with suits and cocktail dresses. Outdoor areas are turf so ladies, your heels are safe!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Children ages 12 and older are welcome to attend the ceremony and reception. For younger children, we’ll be providing on-site babysitting during the ceremony through dinner. Our sitters will have toys and games to keep kids entertained, dinner will be provided, and they will join the reception after. We can’t wait to see your little ones on the dance floor! For more details about our babysitting provider, visit blacktiebabysitting.com.

Question

Will transportation be available?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided to and from the venue and The Elm Hotel. Details for The Elm Hotel can be found under the Travel tab. Buses will arrive at The Elm Hotel at 3:35, so we kindly ask guests to be downstairs and ready at that time.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available at the venue for guests who plan to drive. Uber and Lyft are also readily available in the area.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Guests will be listed on your invitation. If a second name or 'and guest' is listed, a plus one has been reserved for you.
